Each year, the President-Elect of every Rotary Club in a state collaborate on Fundraising or Community Service Project.
In 2024, the President-Elects of Ohio are working to raise funds to support On Our Sleeves, the Movement for Children's Mental Health. On Our Sleeves is a non-profit organization committed to breaking stigma around mental health buy supporting families and other groups talk about mental health with kids.
Funds raised this year will be used to support the purchase of "Kindness Kits" which provide age-appropriate resources for elementary school teachers to use in their classrooms. Each kit costs $25 and includes:
- a classroom poster
- 30 On Our Sleeves pencils
- 30 Kindness Cards to help children write kind notes to each other
- a teacher gift
