Jacob founded the Campus Chapter for Habitat for Humanity and led a mission trip for an alternative spring break. He was a member of the Students of Nonprofit Leadership Organization and was one of the presenters for the group's presentations in the community.  He also did Congressional Debate and qualified for the national tournament two years in a row, and was ranked top 20 in the state for three years.
In his spare time, Jacob enjoys golf and is involved with the Knights of Columbus where he is the Grand Knight of the Campbell chapter.
