Overview
The Rotary Club of Youngstown was founded on February 1, 1915. Our club is #137, of nearly 34,000 Rotary clubs worldwide. A membership of over 95 represent a significant cross section of business, philanthropic and non-profit organizations and is committed to the Rotary motto of "service above self." The Youngstown Rotary Foundation was established in 1947 as an enduring source of revenue supporting charitable endeavors of importance with positive impact on our city, our nation and our world.
 
Rotaryclipse Purpose and Timeline
 
The Rotary Club of Youngstown is pleased to announce its call for applications for its STEM and STEAM Mini Grant Program for Educators. Awards with a monetary value up to $500 will be given to applicants from public and private schools grades K-8 in the City of Youngstown.
 
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) education equip students with essential knowledge, critical thinking abilities, and vital 21st-century skills, ensuring they thrive in an ever-evolving world.
 
This $3,500 grant program was created to show appreciation to local educators and support growth in these areas for local students. Application form available in Fillable Word Document.
 
The Rotaryclipse grant application period is open from now through September 15, 2024.
 
To submit an application, and for questions, please email YoungstownRotaryGrantProgram@gmail.com.  A confirmation email will be sent when an application is received. All applicants will be informed of the Youngstown Rotary Foundation decisions by August 31, 2024.
