Pollinator Programs for All Ages
Operation Pollination has a natural partner in The Mahoning Soil & Water Conservation District, whose team of environmental professionals lead efforts in community and school outreach, stormwater control, watershed protection, pond management and more.
SWCD has partnered with the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County to bring families a fun and educational program series called “EcoTales.” This monthly event combines engaging storytime, hands-on crafts, and interactive lessons focused on conservation and environmental awareness.
Perfect for children and families, “EcoTales” aims to inspire a love for nature while teaching about the importance of protecting the planet. From wildlife conservation to celebrating Earth Day, the program covers a variety of fascinating topics to encourage young minds to explore the wonders of the natural world.
